About me
Visual

I am a visual artist, and with a camera in my hands, I am in my happiest place. Each frame is a study in presence and light. Composition is my playground, and my passion is transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. My goal is simple: to create images that take your breath away and preserve your love as art.

Life Experiences, captured for eternity.

Welcome
My feel for photography lives in the space between a picture and a photograph with soul. What moves me most is not just the act of capturing, but knowing when to capture. For me, photography is the art of timing more than technique.
I was born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela, in a family of artists. My mother and father are both deeply rooted in the creative community, and as the youngest of three, I was immersed in the arts from an early age. It was the camera, though, that truly called to me, offering a way to see the beauty within each moment. Motherhood transformed the nature of my work. It opened a new realm of inspiration, one that only a mother comes to know. Through photography, I began to document the subtleties of this experience, and in doing so, found the deeper thread that connects identity, memory, and becoming

Things that we love
My journey into photography is inseparable from the journey of my life. I am a first-generation immigrant, self-taught through experience, curiosity, and persistence. For more than 18 years, my camera has been both compass and anchor, guiding me through new cities, countries, and seasons of life, while grounding me in the present moment.
I learned to see by living. My earliest work came from documenting my travels. Later, motherhood deepened my gaze. Over time, photography became not just a profession but my way of understanding the human experience, and of transforming it into art.
My personal story has shaped me as much as my artistic one. Transitions, learning new languages, cultures and seasons of deep grief are chapters that taught me resilience, humility, and the gift of slowing down. They also gave me a profound respect for memory: how fragile it is, and how powerful it can be when preserved with care.
Life with my children is my greatest joy. We spend our days between cozy movie nights, art projects at the kitchen table, mountain swimming holes, and adventures through the beautiful community we are lucky to be part of. They remind me of what matters: Love and connection.
Today, I am proud to be a member of The Salon as well as The Asheville Darkroom, two communities of artists that continually challenge, inspire, and expand my vision. These spaces are where I pour back into my craft and remind myself that education is never finished, it is a lifelong act of devotion. The more I grow as an artist, the deeper I can give back to my clients, my children, and my community.
My mission is to create photography that feels like poetry, intentional, timeless, and deeply human. My vision is to transform fleeting instants into heirlooms: images that will let you feel, decades from now, the truth of what it meant to be there.

I believe it’s important for my clients to know me and have a glimpse into my world, my interest and passions.
It creates a stronger bond between the photographer and subject. After all, I’m not just a photographer. I am a mother, a friend a human walking this path alongside you.
