THE ROOTS
My journey into photography is inseparable from the journey of my life
Born into a family of artists in Maracaibo, Venezuela, my camera was my earliest companion offering a way to see the beauty within each moment. For more than 18 years, it has been both compass and anchor, grounding me in the present moment through seasons of deep transitions.
A first-generation immigrant and self-taught artist, I have navigated new languages, cultures, and landscapes. These chapters taught me resilience and a profound respect for memory: how fragile it is, and how powerful it can be when preserved with intentionality and care. Photography is my way of understanding the human experience, and of transforming it into art.
