The Watkins: Leap day Ceremony

They met in college have built the sweetest relationship ever since. They wanted a relaxed low-key day with their closest friends and family and their furry baby, Aussie.

It was a beautiful and intimate winter ceremony, the sun shined throughout their day and they braved the cold breeze to make these beautiful moments possible for me to capture.

We started with the traditional details and getting ready photos

Mountain Magnolia Inn, offers a magical setting for ceremonies during any season. Their magnificent magnolia tree frames couples and guests beautifully.

Every part of their day was absolutely perfect, but one of the moments that they were looking forward the most was their first look. They wanted to be the most special part of their day and it did not disappoint.

After the ceremony and their formal photos with family and friends we did bride and groom portraits. One of my favorite parts of the wedding day.

During this time I get to use my creativity and play around with the elements provided taking into consideration their preferences and personalities. I’m so grateful that they trusted my directions and felt comfortable in front of the camera. I had the best time taking these!.

Nick and Shannon made their entrance, enjoying time with their guests, sharing hugs and touching moments as Husband and Wife.

To wrap a successful day, a candle light dinner with beautiful touches provided by the amazing team at Mountain Magnolia.

I’m deeply honored to have been a part of their day by documenting every moment for them to treasure for all the years to come. I cannot wait to see where their path will lead them and wishing them both nothing but the best.
